Catholic identity is the foundation of our school community. Creating strong faith-filled Catholic leaders is paramount to the apostolic mission of our school. Meaningful prayer and liturgical experiences are integrated throughout the daily curriculum.
We strive to foster a strong sense of a growing faith community that encourages service projects, outreach to the needy, and opportunities for spiritual growth. The school curriculum is integrated throughout all subject areas and is supported by teachers who model their faith daily.
Our Preschool and Kindergarten through 8th grade students are taught to resolve conflicts in peaceful ways, putting their faith into action. At Mass, morning assemblies and music classes the children learn to proudly profess their faith in song.
Rooted in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, we, the community of Sacred Heart Academy, with children as our hope for the future, embraces the mission of providing a quality Catholic education to meet the spiritual, academic and social need of each student.
Philosophy Statement
Sacred Heart Academy, in community with The Holy Name of Jesus Parish, shares the vision of creating an academic environment rooted in our Catholic faith. In unison with parents as primary educators, teachers, staff and clergy believe that our school exists to develop self-disciplined, responsible members of the Church and society. We embrace the unique qualities of each student in a welcoming environment that respects their diverse needs. With children as our hope for the future, we believe that every child can learn to live in relationship with God and in harmony with the environment and with each other to help build the kingdom of God here and now.
